no doubt 2009 will be
one of the years to remember. i mean, there are a thousand things pulling
me down like certain deseases or different friendships gone wrong, the
searching, finding and losing of a thousand things. but i do not feel
like mourning, have to think of 2009 as a year for growing up, for taking
some things more serious and getting a better idea of what i want to do,
actually.
2009 was the discovery of the benelux countries, the year of exhibitions
and serious work as a video artist, of experiencing and making outstanding
art and music, meeting and working with artists i adore and finally working
and partying at the opernabuhütte.
above you see bernadette la hengst and a stupidly smiling version of myself
during one of our parties, workshops, live performances, dj-sets, opera
performances ... or whatever at the eichbaum and it´s hütte.
what i want to say is, this was a place which we transformed into something
we wanted it to be, it was not about looking for culture, it was about
making culture and transforming a place.
the future of the eichbaum is insecure, i´m not sure about my own
involvement, some things are possible, but we will see.
there is so much more to tell, but i do not have the time to tell you
about the great blaise drummond art show in haus lange/haus esters in
krefeld,
also i promise to come up with some more pictures of michaela best´s
papillonner calendar which
is a must have for everyone who is in art, nature or time management,

in 2010 i will be living in the capital of culture, but to be honest, i´m
very sceptical concerning this concept and process. what i can promise
is: 2009 was great, i did a lot of working on art, a lot of performing,
party, doing exhibitions and releasing, i can not promise more quantity,
but the same and higher quality.
and some surprises.
