if scandinavian is representative for the new sven album then this ones a must-have for the forthcoming autumn to let the summer never end. a true sven song fans will not overcome the need to buy the album while fans of real, pure and handmade rock music will be well advised to plunder their account or spend their last shirt on it. a bit poppy at some times it mostly transports the feeling of the old songs combined with a new and fresh taste which certaintly come from the many, many projects this awesome singer/songrwiter/composer/guitarplayer manages. if you don't know what i'm talking about you must immediately download the single which is available only here on svennet. now!

upon the first notes of sven’s latest single, scandinavian, i find i am circling overhead, overland. although there are memories of crawling through swamps and marshes and the feelings of guilt that ensue, sven’s voice lifts me and there is redemption in this melody of his. the strangeness of evolution and now we are communicating with song. hearing this single does everything it should: it grabs you, seduces you and makes you want more. if this single is indication of the complex simplicity of the rest of sven’s upcoming album, then please, tell me more and show me the landscapes of scandinavia.

euphoria ´condition of feeling healthy and comfortable (especially when sick)´ that´s what the lexicon says about euphoria. so, if you´re feeling sick, listen to this great new album euphoria you will probably feel comfortable. there are so many various things to discover, i can´t tell everything. it´s unusual and plays with contrasts between electronic and rocking sounds, between high and low, up and down. sometimes sweet (joining you), sometimes hard rocking (holy anger), sometimes light and airy (you should be dancing), sometimes snotty (#1) and much more. but my favorite song is the one i will call "sven´s world" (because it has no name), starting with sounds as if they were from outer space and then changing into an unexpected, but still rocking song - its great! so, buy it, hear it - it rocks!
